Executive Summary
knowtion uses the GPT language model in Microsoft's European cloud (“Microsoft Azure OpenAI Services”). Data processing is carried out in compliance with the GDPR on European servers. Furthermore, the data entered is not used to train the language model, but is only processed in order to provide a suitable response. No personal/user-related data is processed. This documentation contains further information on data processing.

Under no circumstances will user data be processed. Depending on the feature, different data entered by the user will be processed:
Learning objective generation: Information from the guided setup (e.g., prior knowledge of the training target group) and technical information about the training content uploaded by the user
Content generation: Information from the guided setup (e.g., prior knowledge of the training target group), information on the didactic context of individual pages (e.g., didactic goal of the page, learning objective assignment), and specialist information on the training content uploaded by the user
Chatbot: Chat messages entered by the user
Translation: All text content of the training to be translated
Text-to-speech: Text content entered by the user
