Flipcard type ‘Image & text’ and ‘Video & text’:
Images/thumbnails (for videos) can be created with an aspect ratio of 3:2 (W:H). Regardless of the device - monitor, tablet or smartphone - on which the training is ultimately completed: with an aspect ratio of 3:2, the images are displayed as they were created.
The only exception: in portrait view on a smartphone, the image is cropped slightly at the top and bottom edges.
Flipcard type ‘Image (full-surface)’ and ‘Image (full-surface) & text’:
There is no really fixed aspect ratio here. You can roughly orientate yourself on a ratio of 2:3. Why is it not so easy with the ratio here? The height of the flipcards always adapts dynamically to the largest flipcard on the page.
Concrete example: If there is a card with a lot of text on the front or back, then this card ‘grows’ downwards, i.e. it becomes longer and with it all the other flipcards on the page. This also changes the image section for full-surface images.
